The Sweeney family relax on the beds at Gene's Hotel late in the evening after arriving from their camp site at Van Meter State Park. The Sweeney family was notified earlier someone had arranged for a week long stay at the motel in Marshall. This was the first night they would spend out of their tents in two months.
