PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI -- Maricange, 11, (left) has been living in the Centre d'Accueil FCCM orphanage for two years. She is the youngest of seven children from a Les Cayes, Haiti farming family which is unable to care for all of the children. Her mother brought her to City of God with hopes that someday her daughter would return to her family in Les Cayes. 8-year-old Guiland (right) whose Port-au-Prince family has nine children and unable to care for them all, was brought to the orphanage 1 1/2 years ago by her mother who visits every fourth Sunday. Brother St. Vistal Pierre started the girls orphanage in December 1990 known as Centre d'Accueil FCCM in the Port-au-Prince area known as City of God, one of the poorest spots in Haiti.
